Crowded Barn

Our barn allows up to 8 horses at a time in the indoor arena and I think it's too crowded to be safe. I recommend keeping the number to 6 or less.

When it rains or snows, or there is any type of randomness falling from the sky, it probably will spook a horse. That's because most arenas have a tin roof and you can hear it echoing. The same applies with wind. When it is windy, you might think the arena is going to fall on you, but most arenas have a very good, sturdy structure. I also agree with Arabella about saving power.

Save Electricity

We all have to work to save our environment. I try not to ride at night, and if I do I, only turn on enough of the arena lights to see. Unless you're jumping or doing something that you have to be very careful about and see, lower lighting is probably okay.
