How do you stay safe and leave a good impression of horseback riders on multi-use trails? Have you had any problems on multi-use trails? Share Your Tips
Speaking Up
- My suggestion is: 1: When approaching a horse from the back please speak or call out to them. 2: pass with care

Bright Coloured Clothes
- Wear bright coloured clothes so that other trail users can see you easier. Dark coloured horses can be difficult to see in the trees! And teach your horses to be okay with loose dogs. Lots of people walk their dogs and don't keep them on a leash.
