Dakota is the cutest mini on the planet-he was a X-mas gift to my 29yr. old Standardbred-I did not get a gift but the horse got a pony-go figure who's important in our family?!!!!Dakota does not realize he's a horse-always has to walk by me-comes flying in from the pasture when he sees me-the previous owner said I would NEVER catch him if he's out-yea right-she just didnt have the right color popsicle(purple)-he is truly a joy in my life-he gives me such peace (which is important since I have 14yr old twins!!!)My favorite day off is spending it brushing him and just hanging out-he teaches me something new everyday!!!
Tips and Tricks
- With Dakota I have learned less is best-ASK him to do something-DON'T demand it-He has taught me that yes he does listen to me when nobody else does-it doesn't take much to make him happy-purple popsicles and cookies occasionally and we're all good.All of my horses have very distinct personalities-Dakota's is one of the strongest-can't imagine my day without a kiss from my buddy!!!!
