I bought Aloha almost 12 years ago now. She was my first horse and probably my last. She will be with me until the day she dies. I have been with her through two colic surgeries and she is doing well for her 23 years!! I bought her the year that my mother died and in many ways she was the reason I managed through that difficult time. She was very high strung when I bought her but now she is happy, healthy and very laid back. She does not even have to be led in from the field - they just open the gate and she walks to her stall in the barn. She is very affectionate and loving. She has given me many many moments of joy in these last 12 years!!
