How to Tie Up a Hay Net

In a few weeks we will be heading out for the first competition of the season. That means lots of planning and packing. Of course humans and horse will need food. While a bagel in a baggie is pretty safe for us, hay nets of hay can pose problems for horses. Here's how to tie your hay net so that it doesn't sag and become a hazard.

Tying up a hay net properly is really important. Many people who use a hay net for the first time don’t realize the hazards of leaving the net hanging down where a horse can put a foot through it. Thank you for the alert.
