A few details about your horse.
Logan is a rescued OTT THB, he was 300 + lbs underweight and tied to a power pole being feed rice meal and syrup when I bought him, thanks to my husband and Mr Mark Green of 4 Horse Stables in Burlson, TX he is now back up to almost idea weight and all his health issues are cleared up, he was so abused that for the first month we expected to find him dead in his stall, the previous owners had used a whip laced with nails on him to re-train him for western riding, today we put a saddle on him for the first time without him being spooked and fighting us.
Hard to believe this was a 2007 Triple crown nomaniee, turned into a product of being tossed from owner to owner even went to ASPCA and put back in the hands of the same owners !!!!
Tips and Tricks
- I have learned that no matter how bad you think your life is there is always something worse going on in the world and you can do something about it~ I have silent seizures and am in remission from breast cancer, Logan has been a major help to me in my recovery~ How can I feel bad for myself when I have him to take care of?? he is a godsend to us ~ and today when I put his saddle on and he showed no signs of fear or aggression I knew we had finally crossed the line of total trust, there is no better feeling in the world.
