Your Horse's Name and Age
GT is what he goes by but his registered name is much longer. He is a registered paint but doesn't have all the "marking's". He is about eight years old.
A few details about your horse.
Although he doesn't have the spots he does have a blaze with a spot on it. He does have a tendency to show some spotting in his winter coat, last year was a outline of a larger spot on his neck and this year it's white tipped hair on his belly. He is a great horse. I bought him from my sister and he was very green broke but I took him out riding and at first he didn't want to go past the property line but now we go on the side of the road and we also found a field to ride in that has a hill so he get's a good workout and get's put through his paces. He even came back for me when I fell off of him when he did a sharper turn than I expected....what a guy!!!! He may not be very tall but we have a connection that I never thought I would have with a horse. Even if it is something he isn't sure about he usually will do it because I asked him to. He is still scared of water but we will work at that together.
Tips and Tricks
- I have learned a great deal of confidence working with him and riding him. I've learned that even when he say's "no"( and yes he shakes his head no) he trust's me enough to do what I ask. We have a bond that started back when I first saw him before my sister bought him.I thought he was the nicest looking horse even if he was small(14.2h). He loves kid's and the younger they are the better he is with them. He is a younger horse with an older horse mentality.
