How Long Have You Owned & Where Did You Get Your Horse?
I have had her for a year on March 6 2011! So about 9 months. It's a long story how I got her, but I love sharing it!
It was at the end of February. I *ALWAYS* looked on this one website for horses that I would maybe be able to convince my parents to buy for me. I found this one appy, and we were going to see it the next day.
The next day I came home from school, and my parents told me that the lady had to post-pone the date to the next day. My parents knew that I had wanted to see a horse THAT DAY, so they found another that was my perfect match!
I went to see her and I fell in love with her! The next weekend my dad rented a trailer, and me, my dad, and my mom went to get her! My mom had gotten new halter and lead ropes and grooming things for me.
That's how I got my Dixie! When we bought her, we were told she was a Quarter Horse, but later found out that she was a Thoroughbred!
