Description
Guide Review - Horse Management SoftwareThe home screen opens to a very easy to use, attractive interface. From this screen creating and updating records is very simple and straight forward. Management includes customizing the program, adding personal information and logos. The farm interview steps the user through the process in a very clear and thorough process.
The calendar is a simple way to record tasks and reminders. The financial records allows you to record your horse related expenses and income. The customer information synchronizes with the contacts list making multiple entries of this information unnecessary. Records include training log, breeding history, veterinary procedures and treatments. The sales and removals and acquisitions records helps you keep records of the comings and goings of horses and equipment. Performance records allow you to detail nominations and competition results. All of these records are accessed through the home screen and all are linked. Horse records are very thorough with the option of linking photos for horse, sire and dam. Selecting a horse takes you to tabbed records of training, care, breeding and performance for that individual horse. A very handy feature if you sell horses is the catalog page creation feature accessed through the Marketing tool. There are several different layout options with photos and pedigree charts. Catalog pages can be printed or exported to several different file types including Excel, .pdf and .html. Photos can be linked to those already on your computer. Trial users may enter horses or view the sample herd for a thirty day period. The back-up feature allows users to ensure their data is not lost in case of computer glitches. The program was very easy to install on a Windows system. Linux or Mac versions are not available at this writing. |
