Stirrup Leather

Definition: A sturdy strap of leather or webbing that the stirrup hangs from. Underneath the skirt, the stirrup leathers hang from horizontal bars. Buckles or hooks make the length of the stirrup leather easy to change to accommodate different leg lengths.
