Definition: To school a horse, or schooling a horse is to practice what ever you are training it. Schooling can be done in an arena or on the trail. Schooling movements might include upward and downward transitions, halts, circles, rein backs and other more advanced exercises. Re-schooling a horse means to be training it in a way that will break unwanted behaviors.
