GA Aimee and Foal

A little rest after her first attempt at standing.

2008 K. Blocksdorf
My daughter owned this mare for 4 years before selling her to a family member. Aimee proved she was worth breeding by doing everything from team penning and western games to drill and distance riding, coming through sound and sane throughout her working years. She was bred to an Arabian stallion, and at the age of 21 produced a lovely purebred Arabian filly foal. Ever the 'outdoor girl' Aimee waited until she was let out in the pasture to have her baby out in the sunshine. Although the filly is a chestnut now, the duskyness on her legs hints she may 'grey' out like her father. When the time comes, it's hoped the filly will distinguish herself as a distance horse.
