These photos were taken on a very soggy afternoon at the Wits End Horse Trials on Saturday, September 27, 2008 just outside of Mansfield, Ontario. This event was a first in Canada. The cross country course was just under 4km ( 2.4 miles) set in rolling hills, through and over water and very solid jumps. Like any cross country event, riders were given an optimum time and they paced their ride to come as close to the optimum time as possible.
