However the use of many natural methods is controversial and many natural preparations are not subject to the rigorous testing that most chemical de-wormers are.
Diatomaceous should not be inhaled by you or your horse because the sharp dust can irritate mucous membranes.
One of the most damaging parasites are encysted strongyles and they may be difficult to get rid of with anything but a specific drug based de-wormer.
