Definition: Palominos come in many shades but their manes and tail are always white. The shade of their coat color can vary from the palest cream to the deepest gold. The coat color is consistent down the legs with no black points. Palominos may have white markings on their face or legs. Palominos are favorites for parade horses.

Examples: The palomino parade horse looked spectacular ridden in a black leather saddle and bridle with silver fittings.
