2005 K. Blocksdorf
Definition: Buckskins are similar to bays in that they have black manes and tails, and black points on the legs, muzzle and ears. The coat color can be deep crème, taupe, sand, or dull gold. Buckskins do not have a dorsal stripe, brindle markings, or leg stripes. Rather similarly colored horses with these markings are referred to as Duns.
