Staying Supple for Horseback Riding

Many people think that sitting on a horse is just that -- sitting. It isn't until they try it that they realize how much work it is. Suppleness and strength are required. Start doing dressage, jumping or any other discipline and your fitness level has to increase. The first time I did a dressage test I think I was as tired as I would have been finishing a thirty mile competitive trail ride! One element of being fit and supple is your flexibility.
