WSPA Working to Improve the Lives of Working Equines

Saturday September 30, 2006
Most of us go out of our way to keep our horses comfortable and healthy. But thousands of equines work very hard for a living without proper nutrition, veterinary or hoof care. And although they are their primary mode of transportation their handlers simply do not have the knowledge or resources to care for their animals properly. On her fall tour WSPA's Companion Animals Director Dr. Elly Hiby will be speaking on "The Condition of Working Equines". Check the WSPA's site for dates and locations of Dr. Hiby's engagements and learn how you can contribute to improving animal welfare, including the world's working horses, donkeys, ponies and mules.
