Mosquitos are pesky little things. Not only do they bite, leaving you and your horse with itchy welts, they also transmit diseases. By now many of us know about WNV, but there are other diseases like EE, and EIA that are also carried by mosquitos. Your local equine veterinarian can advise you about vaccinations you'll need, and whether you need a Coggins test to test for EIA.
