A while ago, I posed the question on my blog, Did Unicorns Exist?. The post spawned some interesting exchanges on both sides of the question. So I decided to delve deeper and explore the lore of unicorns and the evidence of their existence. I can't say that my research has convinced me either way. After all, there have been a great many creatures whose actual existence we have only just learned about in the last several years. Would I want a unicorn? I'm not sure. The cloven hooves and the horn would take a bit more care perhaps. And how what about that horn on a trail ride? Wouldn't it get tangled in branches along the trail? Would it require floating, like a horse's teeth? I'm not sure. And I already know how difficult it is to keep a white horse well groomed! But here's what I've learned about the mythological cousin of the horse in Are Unicorns Real?.
