Take the Poll: What Horse Training Methods Have You Tried?

Tuesday October 27, 2009
There are a lot of different ways to train a horse. Some horse owners only use Parelli, Lyons or other popular 'natural horsemanship' methods and some believe in using classical methods. Some people combine methods, and that's perfectly okay as long as you are consistent in the way you handle your horse. What methods do you use? Take the poll and leave your comments below.

good poll! I am pleasantly surprised at the results. I guess it only *seems* like everyone has gone the way of “natural horsemanship” these days. Nice to see a majority sticking with the classical principles of riding. :-)

I use a combination of Parelli, TTouch and Clicker working with my horses. I have found that clicker very useful working with my mustangs. This method has helped me teach them to halter and work with the vet the most
