Take the Poll: Do You Work in The Horse Industry
Tuesday July 14, 2009
I have been involved in the horse industry in one way or another for most of my life. I rode as a child, helped look after the horses my mother boarded and only took a brief break from horses during my mid-twenties. When I was 28, a little white Arabian caught my heart and before I knew it, I was back (happily) in the saddle and in the thick of things as a volunteer and as a writer. I have spent most of my life surrounded by people who make their living in the horse industry. If you are looking for a horse-related job, there is a long list of possibilities to choose from. Are you working in the horse industry? Do you wish to? Take the poll. In the comments below, share your experiences or your thoughts about working in the horse industry.

Both my husband and I work in the equine industry. We do barefoot hoof care, and lameness rehab, and I also do hay and shavings sales for a local hay producer.
We don’t “work” in horses
We play all day long and come home very tired. But very very happy! (And we see horses in our sleep…lol)
