Practising Quick Release Knots

I have to admit, tying a quick release knot is one thing that I can never make stick in my brain. Even when I was competing in ride 'n' ties I had to have someone 'refresh' my memory before heading out. I get past my inability to tie knots while at home by using trailer ties with panic snaps when I tie my horses. I've even kept a print out of a diagram of a quick release knot in my brush box. This is after all an essential skill for all horse and pony owners!
