Horses and a Healthy Environment

Thursday May 14, 2009
If I could build my dream stable and home I would design it to be as environmentally friendly as possible. In my dream house I would have gray water and water saving systems. I'd incorporate wind and solar power to run lights in my house, barn and indoor arena. My dream stable would be environmentally friendly too. If you are looking for ways to green up your stable and pastures Horses For Clean Water offers lots of environmentally friendly ideas. I really liked the on-line farm tours and the sample information.

I think this is great, but if you are concerned about the environment do not overlook the numerous toxic grooming products and of course the fly sprays. Pesticides are NEVER environmentally friendly and we should not be coating our beloved horses in them.
