What To Do When Your Horse Rears

But it's actually quite dangerous for rider and horse. When a horse is trained to rear it learns how to balance the rider while it stands on its two back legs. When a horse rears out of frustration or fear it can lose it's balance and fall, or it can strike someone on the ground. How do you deal with a horse that rears, and what should you do if your horse rears while you are riding or leading it? Unfortunately, there's no foolproof answer. But here are some tips that may help you.
