Olympic Show Jumping Standings

Of the over 60 competitors in the Olympic show jumping, only 13 achieved clear rounds. Leading the pack is Switzerland's Christina Liebherr and No Mercy. The Canadian team is looking good with Mac Cone and Eric Lamaze with 0 penalties and Captain Canada, Ian Millar and team mate Jill Henselwood close behind with 1 penalty each. Beezie Madden and Authentic showed how to clear the course with style along with team mates McLain Ward and Will Sampson, each finishing with 0 penalty points. World Equestrian Games gold medalist Jos Lansink and the grey powerhouse Cumano finished with 1 time penalty point. Time was of the essence as riders erred on the side of caution and many went over the 88 second limit. But as the top 30+ horses compete in the next qualifer, it will be an exciting competition heading to the final rounds on August 18 and 21. Want the full standings?
