Have Rising Gas Prices Affected Your Horse Activities?

Recently on the forum, a member asked about the possibility of using horses as transportation to work. She felt it would be more environmentally friendly and fuel efficient. The recent rise in gas prices has many of us looking at the way and what we drive. For those of us with trucks and trailers, we might consider how important a certain competition is, or how far from home it is.

I don’t show horses, but it’s definetly in my mind when I am decided whether to go to an event involving horses. I don’t go out as muchnow that I’m paying so much for fuel, and riding my horse to town has definetly crossed my mind!
