New Zealand Study Focus on Horse's Color Recognition
Monday May 19, 2008
How well can a horse see color? We'd like to think they see the multi-colored panorama we do. But they don't. According to this New Zealand study, they see colors a bit differently than we do. It still doesn't explain why the red flowers beside the ring are scarier than the blue flowers under the jump. Or why a pink mailbox is more frightening than a yellow one. That's probably a subject for another study.
