What Can I Do with a Weanling?

Thursday March 13, 2008
Having just visited Thor I am shocked at how small he is in this photo.

He's about 9 months old here, and looks like a cuddly fur ball. As a weanling we made sure to handle him so he would be respectful. We knew he wasn't going to stay that small forever. Now, a year later, he is a coming two-year old approaching 15.3 hands. With something that big and strong, respect is very important! What should you train a weanling and how much handling should it get used to? What Can I Do with a Weanling is an overview of what you can expect when training and handling a weanling.
