Drinking Water for Your Horse

My first thought when Fredina had her bout of colic, was that perhaps for some reason she had not had enough water, causing an impaction. This is probably not the case, as fresh water is always available to her. But in the winter time, when horses are eating primarily dry hay, water consumption is very important for proper digestion.
