How to Wash Your Hands

Tuesday November 13, 2007
There are a lot of nasty bugs infecting stables in our area. Various forms of equine flu are making the rounds. My horses are healthy and I'd like to keep it that way. We've been very careful not to bring any germs home. Just like human flu, the most important defence against equine flu is good hygiene. I've been rinsing my rubber boots off with soapy water and, of course, washing my hands. Whether you're trying to prevent the spread of horse or human viruses knowing how to properly wash your hands is essential. Kristina Duda, R.N., About Guide to Cold & Flu steps you through the process in Hand Washing - How to Wash Your Hands.
