World Equestrian Games

The World Equestrian Games began August 20th in Aachen, Germany. Over the next two weeks top riders from around the world in endurance, eventing, jumping, driving, reining, dressage and vaulting will be competing.

The WEG is held every four years and is the meeting place of the stars of the equestrian world. You can download a complete schedule, view results, watch streaming video and get all the details at the FEI World Equestrian Games Aachen 2006 site.

This morning the preliminary results for endurance racing were posted and are being updated frequently.

Canadians can watch the games on Country Canada with coverage nightly at 7:00PM and 1:00AM. The opening ceremonies will be televised tonight. US viewers can tune into HorseTV. Highlights of the games will be televised on NBC September 24 at 4:30PM.
