Spring Pasture Care Tips

Wednesday April 12, 2006
Check fences and ground in springI was reminded of how important it is to check your fences, paddock and pasture areas in the spring when an acquaintance commented he found a bottle thrown right next to his horse's feeder. Odd, because the horses are not near a public road or lane.

And you never know what the frost will heave up. While I contend with rocks, rocks and more rocks other horse owners discover all sorts of debris like nails, old hinges and other odds and ends that could be chewed on or injure a hoof if stepped on. Spring Pasture Care Tips offers you ideas so you can get going on some spring cleaning in your corrals, paddocks, yards and pastures.
