Your Horse's Hooves

Sunday July 24, 2005
There is an old saying "No foot, no horse." It makes sense; if your horse has sore or damaged feet he will be in pain, and you won't be able to ride or drive. There is another old adage that goes something like this: “One white foot, buy him. Two white feet, try him. Three white feet, look well about him. Four white feet, go without him.” Many people still believe that white hooves are weaker than black hooves.
